Salmon Power Sports

Salmon Power Sports manufacture the best marine ballast systems in the world. The concept is that by filling a tank in the bow of a boat, it allows the boat to go faster with less shock and impact during higher sea states.

 

Salmon approached us to design and develop a new lever for their cable operated ballast tank system. The brief was that they would enter the leisure market with this new product called Wavebreaker.

Knowing that a cable operated system would bring challenges to this market, we proposed to develop an electrically actuated system. 

We were contracted to develop the end to end solution, including electronics, coding, systems and packaging both on and below vessel.
